Your files stay on your infrastructure.

• Where is the data processed?

  Your original documents remain in your own storage system. Doclerk extracts and indexes only the content needed to power search, filing, and answers — such as text and metadata — so it can respond quickly. We do not create a separate copy of your original files.

• How is my data protected in transit and at rest?

  All traffic to Doclerk is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted as well. Your original files remain on your own infrastructure — they are never copied into a shared repository for us to hold.

• Who has access?

  Access is limited to the authorized users in your firm's workspace, based on the accounts and permissions you configure. We do not browse your matters.

• Are AI models trained on your data?

  No. Doclerk does not train or fine-tune AI models on your documents, and our model providers are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their models. Your documents are used only to generate your answers, in your workspace.
